Ahh the final bit of landscaping is adjusting the lighting at dusk. Easy enough in the winter months, always a late one in summer. The client already had pots from our favourite pot suppliers @torc_pots @torcpots_max and we designed and built the garden to show case these wonderful pieces. In small gardens, go for less larger pieces and show case them. Theses look fabulous in the day and with the lighting we love them even more. Now for the furniture and the garden is ready for the client. We will return to photograph once the planting has established a bit more next year. Thanks again to @watts_the_fault for the collaboration in implementing our lighting designs. Creating a private space in a town gardens can be challenging but clever design hides this space from onlooking neighbours. Even garden paths can be beautiful. This is a wonderful picture from Josh, one of our site foreman this evening. These short days mean the site work often finishes daily in the dark, but boy, it is worth it for moments like this. So satisfying laying a path like this and getting it right. Josh and all our team really care about their work and their craftsmanship and the level of detail to realise our designs and is much so appreciated. It really does take a team to build such wonderful spaces. Sunsets like this just finish a hard day's work off in the perfect way. Lawns properly prepared are essential. It's like painting the end result is always about the quality and care of the preparation. Cutting corners on this will never yield a lovely lawn. I am sure the children and parents of this client cannot wait until they play games on it again. It has been a long journey of a house and garden renovation. Building a new wall that looks part of the landscape. Looks like it has always been there. We used existing stones around the site to create those beautiful walls to deal with level changes we created from the formal new garden design into the old orchard.
