Conjuring magical ambience

The brief:
The client’s brief was a garden they could use throughout the day. Sitting around the table catching the morning sun while enjoying a cup of coffee and a pastry at breakfast, then moving across the garden to sit on the bench to work or relax while reading a book.

To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow

The design:
In a courtyard garden every inch, nook and cranny matters, even the smallest gardens can have different space depending on the time of day or your mood.

This garden was designed with the arrival of a new grandchild and we wanted to create a garden with a soft area for them to play on the ground and for the baby to explore safely.

The lighting changes the atmosphere of the garden as the daylight disappears and brings the garden into the house especially on those dark winter evenings as the view from the windows is brought inside.

  • “We have now completed  two major projects with Keltie & Clark and we love the finished gardens and paved areas. Both have made a big impact on how our property looks and we are very satisfied with all aspects of their work. Well done Sam & Curstain!”
