The water became the heart of this design to be enjoyed from the house but also it is the centre from which the outdoor kitchen, contemporary pod, and meadow area all feed off from this focal point.
The outdoor kitchen was designed to host large parties but also not feel too spacious when the clients were on their own. A pizza oven which is used as a slow oven and cosy heat source make this functional kitchen a lovely space to relax and cook. Low maintenance planting surrounds the large family lawn and a fun contemporary pod sits in the corner as a place to sit and enjoy a pre-dinner drink or shelter from a British summer shower. A meadow area was created to keep the amount of planting borders to a minimum but also provide a different ambience space to sit in. There is even a hedgehog who now calls this space their home.
