Garden brief
To create cascading water with fish and to incorporate two of the client’s own sculptures they had made. To divide and marry the formal garden and the surrounding landscape they formed terrace planting.
The garden design
We created a large naturally terraced garden with vibrant planting, which has year-round interest and harmonises with the rural landscape. The new bubbling stream follows the drive from the garden entrance to a raised pool and seating area, where you can hear the soothing sound of running water.
The background planting was designed to complement the strength and movement of the fighting foxes.
The beautiful copper kingfishers and the sculpture at the head of the water feature were hand crafted by the artist client and provided inspiration for the spectacular water surround. Gardens by Keltie and Clark can work with you to introduce bespoke features of your choice.
